Overview

This family home needed more space and a stronger connection to the garden, particularly for a hardworking family whose seven-day farming schedule leaves little time to relax. Omega Group was commissioned to create a calm, comfortable retreat that would integrate effortlessly with the existing property.

The project began with the demolition of an ageing conservatory, followed by the construction of a two-storey blockwork cavity wall extension. The completed design delivers:

• A bright, peaceful garden room on the ground floor with direct access to the outdoors, providing the perfect space to unwind after long days at work
• Removal of a large internal wall, creating a big open plan living/dining area
• A new upstairs bedroom, adding valuable living space for the family
• Enhanced insulation and energy efficiency through modern construction methods and materials
